CSSC ASA DIVING CHAMPIONSHIP RULES 2008
Individuals – Men & Women

The Diving Championships of the CSSC ASA shall be held under ASA rules

(a) Ladies Springboard (1m or 3m springboard, or combination thereof)

Final: Each competitor will be required to perform four dives with no limit on the degree of difficulty. At least two of these must be selected from different groups. Dives may only be repeated if they are performed in a different position on each occasion i.e. A forward dive may be performed three times provided that it is done straight, picked and tucked.

(b) Mens Springboard (1m or 3m springboard, or combination thereof)

(c) Ladies Platform (1m, 3m, 5m, 7.5m, 10m platform, or combination thereof)

Final: Each competitor will be required to perform four dives with no limit on the degree of
difficulty. At least two of these must be selected from different groups. Dives may only be repeated if they are performed in a different position on each occasion i.e. A forward dive may be performed three times provided that it is done straight, picked and tucked.

Dives performed from the 1m and 3m platform will be awarded the degree of difficulty as if the dive were performed from the 5m platform, however the degree of difficulty will be reduced by 0.1 for a dive performed from the 3m platform and 0.2 for a dive performed from the 1m platform
