CSSC ASA National Swimming, Lifesaving and Water polo Championships

The Championships will be held at Ponds Forge, Sheffield on
17th September 2025 - 09.00 - 17.00 and
18th Septembey 2025 - 09.00 - 12.00 (+ Water Polo invitational 12.00 - 14.00)

RCSL and HOPS Swimming Gala 2025

The RCSL and HOPS Swimming Gala is being held in Corby Pool on Friday 10th October 2025. It includes a full range of open and masters events and is open to all RCSL and HOPS members.

CSSC ASA Open Water Championships 2025 - 13 July

Will be held at Whiltlingham Adventure, Whitlingham Lane, Trowse, Norwich. NR14 8TR, on Sunday 14th July 2022. Open to all CSSC members who are also ASA Category 2 members. Closing Date 14th June 2024. For details please read the Entry Conditions first and then complete the online entry form. Open water swimmers please note: The Open Water Swimming Championships is an annual event and open to both ladies and men. All standards of swimmer are welcome. CSSC will be happy to reimburse £10.00 per person towards your entry fee and as the event is classed as an Open event qualifies for help with expenses from the National Travel Policy.

Swimming events are for men and women in both open, masters and veterans events.  Trophies are awarded on an individual, team and at departmental/club level. Entry qualifiction is being a current CSSC member.

About CSSC ASA

• The CSSC Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) has been looking after Swimming, Diving, Life Saving and Water Polo for Civil Servants and more latterly all CSSC members since 1909. 

• The CSSC ASA exists to promote these sports within the CSSC and we do this as follows:

• The Executive Committee plan the National Swimming, Diving, Water Polo and Life Saving Championships, difined by CSSC as a National Open Event, which is held at Ponds Forge, Sheffield in May each year, and the National CSSC Open Water Swimming Championships which are held near Norwich in July each year..

• We also hold our own Annual Council Meeting when rule changes are voted on and appointments to the Executive are made, at our Championships. We are all volunteers so if you feel you can contribute why not come along. You will be very welcome. 
  
  
• The CSSC ASA is financed by a grant each year from the CSSC and is referred to as an SRB (Sports & Recreational Body) within the CSSC.
