ASA Registration

Competing for CSSC ASA in external competitions

Members have asked in the past if they are eligible to compete in external Masters Competitions for CSSC ASA through their CSSC membership. It is possible to do this but the individual must also first register as an individual with the ASA via CSSC ASA, or already be registered through another ASA affiliated club.

If you are not already a member of a swimming club and you are therefore not currently registered with the ASA please download the ‘Member Registration Form Category 2’, complete it and send a cheque made payable to the 'ASA' for the fee (currently £25.50 in 2016) and send your cheque along with the completed form to me*. I will sign the form as Club Secretary (to confirm you area CSSC membership) and pass on your registration (countersigned) along with your cheque to the ASA who will register you and confirm your registration via their online website. For ongoing years please repeat as when first registering. Would help me if you also enclosed a stamped envelope addressed to the ASA (see contact details below).

If you are already a member of a swimming club and therefore are already registered (paid the ASA Registration fee) though that club but would still like to swim in external Masters competitions under the CSSC ASA banner you will only need to complete the ‘Multi Club’ form listing all ASA affiliated clubs including CSSC ASA and send the form direct to the ASA (please send a copy to me for reference).

If you do take part in competitions representing CSSC ASA please email me with details results/photos etc. I would like to know about your achievements!
