National Boat Finals 2000 The CSSC National Team Boat Finals 2000 were held on Thursday 13th July at Beaumaris, Wales. The finals are run by the CSSC Angling Council which is the ruling body for all angling within the CSSC. The teams were made up of three individuals who had qualified in there regional CSSC competitions. Four boats were used and the team members were drawn into each of the four boats. Prizes and pools were presented to the winners at the hotel on the evening after the match when there was also the opportunity for questions and ideas to be put forward to the Angling Council. Although the Straights were calm after rounding the point although not severely rough the fishing was uncomfortable and I am sure catches suffered because of the inclement weather. Each time the boats moved most us got a good old soaking from the sea coming over the sides. A good time was had by all as they say and most things apart from bagfuls of fish went to plan. The skippers still worked hard for us but on a day when nabbing a few mackerel for bait was hard work we were never going to fill the boats! 2000 CSSC TEAM BOAT FINALS - Results: -
