The CSSC Amateur Swimming Association (ASA)
has been looking after Swimming, Diving, Life Saving and Water Polo for Civil
Servants and more latterly CSSC members since 1909.
The ASA exists to promote these sports within
the CSSC and we do this as follows:
The current Executive Committee meets
up to three
times each year to plan the National Swimming, Diving and Life Saving
Championships, which are usually held in May each year, as well as organize
Representative matches for Swimming, Diving and Water Polo teams against the Armed Forces and British Police.
We also hold our own Annual Council meeting
when rule changes are voted on and
appointments to the Executive are made. We are all volunteers so if you feel
you can contribute why not come along. You will be very welcome.
The CSSC ASA is financed by a grant each year from
the CSSC Sports & Leisure. The CSSC ASA is referred to as an SRB
(Sports & Recreational Body) within the CSSC .
