The RCSL was launched on 18 April 2005 due to the merger of the two departments. The RCSL has it's own Angling Section that runs competitions covering Shore, Boat, Game and Course Angling.

Shore Angling

The RCSL National Open Shore Angling Championships will be held in conjunction with the CSSC NOSAC at Otterspool, Merseyside on 11 November at 11 o'clock. The event is open to all former IRSA and C&ESA members. Members will be competing for Longest Fish and Longest Bag trophies. As the RCSL event is run in conjunction with the CSSC NOSAC RCSL members may also enter this event as individuals. Please use the CSSC NOSAC entry form if you wish to reserve hotel accommodation.
