Sea Angling (home page) Sea Angling within the CSSC is split up into both Shore and Boat competitions at both National and Regional CSSC level. There is also a National Open and in addition several of the larger Departments have there own competitions. CSSC NATIONAL TEAM FINALS Both of the CSSC National Team Boat and CSSC National Team Shore competitions are run by the Angling Council who have their home page at http://homepages.which.net/~jim.north/index.htm. For both events entrants need to have qualified by taking part in their Regional CSSC qualifier competitions. The regions put forward a team of three who will represent that region at the National Finals.
CSSC REGIONAL QUALIFIERS The Regional qualifiers are run by regional organisers accountable to their Regional CSSC committees and at present take a variety of formats although generally the 'best three anglers' are chosen to represent their area.
CSSC NATIONAL INDIVIDUAL OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS At present there are the National Open Shore Angling Championships, held annually around the UK and being an "open" the criteria for entering does not include having had to qualify in another match first. DEPARTMENTAL COMPETITIONS NOTE |
